Stone Carvings

Each of our hand-carved pieces
is crafted from
single specimens of natural and unadulterated stone. The materials vary from incredible picture jasper, various colors of quartz and many other rare and unique materials. The carvers use the natural variations of color in each stone to their advantage to illustrate the nuances and subtleties of nature.

 Stone carving is an ancient activity where pieces of rough natural stone are shaped by the controlled removal of stone. Owing to the permanence of the material, evidence can be found that even the earliest societies indulged in some form of stone work.
